Pharmacology and shipping are just two of the applications where removable labels can come in handy. If you have picked up a prescription at a pharmacy lately you may have noticed the pharmacist removing a label from your package to have you sign. You have probably seen the same thing with overnight carriers such as FedEx who have a label on your package that can be removed for you to sign for their records.

Of course, there are many other possible uses for removable labels, including CD labels, address labels, and mailing labels, just to name a few. These labels usually come in either a roll or a sheet, both of which can be run through a printer and then applied to your item. Removable labels can be removed from their backing sheet with great ease, and then applied to whatever you want to label.

The Convenient Removable Label

One of the nice features of removable labels is that you don’t need to worry about making a mistake. If you place the label on the wrong item, you simply need to peel it off and place it on the correct one. This is true for CDs, files, packages, letters, just about anything. Removable labels are not a good match for all applications, however. Warehouses, for instance, need to use labels that they know will stay put during shipping.

There are some applications where labels will be exposed to harsh weather conditions such as extreme sun, cold, wind, or rain. These labels will need to stay put no matter what so that products are safely reach their intended location. If these cases removable labels just won’t work. Most labels won’t need to stand up to such tough conditions. In these cases, such as filing, sending personal correspondence, or labeling your favorite CDs, removable labels will work very well.
